What is Pocket Pieces?
Pocket Pieces brings you prestige, one-of-a-kind pieces to sustainably kit out your wardrobe. All pieces are sourced from around the globe by founder Phoebe, a die-hard vintage lover who works on Hollywood feature films and productions by day, and sources incredible vintage by night!
Are all of the pieces genuinely designer?
We go to great lengths to curate a collection of quality pieces, in great condition. We source from trusted partners and often direct from brand fans. We spend time reviewing and validating the authenticity of each piece. Where possible, we include the certificate with the item. For any questions on a specific piece, feel free to send your questions our way.
How do I make sure I order the right size?
We've created a useful size chart that you can find on every item's page. Where sizing of the piece varies from the label, we indicate this in the item's description. Feel free to email us if you need further help.
For Hire
How do I hire a piece?
Pocket Pieces wants to help you sustainably kit out your wardrobe with special pieces. That's why we offer a For Hire service for select opportunities. Get in touch with details of your request and any styles you might be looking for.
Please note, at present, we are only offering our Hire service to UK-registered professional stylists and costume designers. Sign up to our newsletter to be the first to hear when this changes.
How long can I hire an item for?
We offer a range of hire periods, depending on the piece itself, with pricing calculated to reflect the piece's retail price and time with you. Email us directly from the piece page to submit your hire request. We'll then be in touch within 24 hours to confirm the terms and period length with you.
Do you offer items For Hire internationally?
Currently, we only offer our For Hire service to customers within the UK. We'll announce updates on this front, if and when things change.
Do you offer a professional Hire service?
We regularly work with stylists, costume designers and costume houses to supply clothing and accessories for film, TV production and fashion editorial shoots. Our North London studio is open by appointment for pulls. Please get in touch if you are interested in our hire service or to book an appointment.
Delivery
Which delivery service do you use?
We use Royal Mail for all our deliveries. We generally dispatch items within 5 working days of receiving your order.
The below indicates the price of a small parcel:
- UK: £3.95 via Royal Mail Tracked 48, 1-2 business days
If you require a more specific delivery service, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Do you ship internationally?
We do ship internationally, operating with a flat rate depending on your location. The below indicates the price of a small parcel.
- Europe: £16.95
- Rest of World: £22.95
If you require a more specific delivery service, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Please note that we cannot be held responsible for customs charges/sales tax charged on international shipping items. This now includes the European Union.
How long will it take to receive my items?
We use Royal Mail for all our deliveries and aim to dispatch your item/s within 5 days of receiving your order.
We then offer three flat-rate shipping services:
- UK: Royal Mail Tracked 48, 1-2 business days
- Europe: Royal Mail Tracked, 3-5 business days
- Rest of World: Royal Mail Tracked, 5-7 business days
Please note that we cannot specify a delivery date. If you require a more precise delivery date, we can use an alternative service. Please get in touch with us for more information.
Returns
Do you offer returns?
Yes, rest assured, we offer you 14 days to return items, from the date of your own request. Please note that customers are responsible for the cost of returning items back to us.
If you would like to return an item please email us first to verify that your return can be accepted. You will then be provided with our return address details.
Once the item has been received and reviewed – as long as we have agreed your return – you will be refunded via the original payment method, minus the original shipping cost.
For all returns, please ensure items are returned swiftly and in the condition in which they were originally shipped.
Unfortunately we do not offer any returns/refund policy for For Hire items, unless we identify very specific circumstances.
Responsibility
How do you operate responsibly?
We aim to operate a responsible business model, encouraging the cyclical movement of quality clothing, so that great pieces avoid landfill. We believe that great pieces deserve to stand the test of time.
That's why we aim to:
- Share care instructions for each item where they may differ from the norm.
- Encourage fewer returns. Don't get us wrong, we love an impulse purchase, though we try to ensure we do it with the long-term in mind. Returns are the bain of fashion eCommerce so we ask you to purchase responsibly to help us minimise the impact of returns. Not only to support our business, but also everyone's resources for the sake of our planet.
- Use recycled and recyclable packing for all our items, from our cards and tissue paper, which we make sure to use to preserve the condition of the pieces we are shipping.
